I use GentooXO daily, though I update it on my desktop machine in a chroot and sync from and to USB stick via rsync.

Some features are currently missing: adjust monitor backlight, game keys as normal keys (including turning the monitor). Rest works, though, and I can even watch video in X and in console.

I mostly work with emacs in the console :) — [[User:ArneBab|ArneBab]] 16:59, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

- I just installed the new version 2.0 onto an SD card. It boots, however, does not recognize the network card, so therefore no network, so of course, cannot update graphics drivers. Also, the sound does not work even after turning all of the mixer levels up on master and pcm. Also mame does not work.

I use GentooXO daily, though I update it on my desktop machine in a chroot and sync from and to USB stick via rsync.

Some features are currently missing: adjust monitor backlight, game keys as normal keys (including turning the monitor). Rest works, though, and I can even watch video in X and in console.

I mostly work with emacs in the console :) — ArneBab 16:59, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

I now use wpa_cli, and it works like a charm. Since the a firmware update, I have to shortly press one of the game keys on startup to make it show the console (I use the XO in text-mode). ArneBab 06:44, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

- I just installed the new version 2.0 onto an SD card. It boots, however, does not recognize the network card, so therefore no network, so of course, cannot update graphics drivers. Also, the sound does not work even after turning all of the mixer levels up on master and pcm. Also mame does not work.

From USB-stick it works for me. Try wpa_assistant and wpa_cli for network. ArneBab 16:53, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
