AlphaSmart

This is a device with a normal keyboard and a screen that is three times wider than a normal PALM screen. It runs PalmOS and is intended as a writing tool although it can run any Palm software. It can be used with the widescreen and keyboard or turned sideways and used as a Palm with a 3 times bigger screen.

Since it is a PalmOS device, it can accept handwriting input on the wide screen strip.
