Bluetooth is a wireless local network used by keyboards, mice, speakers, headsets, mobile phones, and other devices.
Hardware
Bluetooth is available on the XO-4 built-in.
Bluetooth is available on the XO-1, XO-1.5, XO-1.75 using a USB bluetooth adapter. The adapter will prevent closure of the latches. Not all adapters are supported.
Software
On 13.2.0:
- our GNOME desktop does not have the usual Bluetooth panel icon for scan and pairing, but this can be added;
yum install -y gnome-bluetooth
- Sugar does not have Bluetooth scan and pairing support.
Firmware
The firmware of the XO-4 includes a Bluetooth pairing test which is used during manufacturing.
