Automatic software updates caused a wireless connection loss problem. Connection was lost within seconds or minutes of startup. This has been fixed by kernel developers and added to updates by Ubuntu. The automatic software updates will apply the fix. The fix in kernel change log is "rtlwifi: rtl8821ae: Fix connection lost problem". If updates are not applied because of the problem, please connect by ethernet cable or an external USB wireless device. |

Installation
How to install OLPC OS 16.04.4:
- you must already be familiar with how to install Ubuntu, if not, see Download Ubuntu Desktop, and Install Ubuntu Desktop,
- download the image and write to media,
- boot our image and install in the usual way.
Known Problems
Wireless Connection Lost
Automatic software updates caused a wireless connection loss problem. Connection was lost within seconds or minutes of startup. This has been fixed by kernel developers and added to updates by Ubuntu. The automatic software updates will apply the fix.
