to go into the HIG at some point
HIG style guidelines for how to use Cairo, GTK widgets, PyGame; how to implement widgets that look like the others with different tools in case you don't use GTK.
Bear in mind the physical platfom and the audience's kid nature. drag and drop isn't trivial with a touchpad; be careful.
