We would like anyone who wants to to come. We are especially interested in students from 6th grade and up (don't worry we have different things for juniors in high school to do, than middle schoolers). We also welcome parents, and other adults. |

Revision as of 15:23, 2 June 2008
Every Saturday starting Saturday, May 31 from 2-6 we will have the first of many [Open Jams]. It will be held at the OLPC offices on the tenth floor of 1 Cambridge Center, which is located just outside the Kendall Square stop on the Red line. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome, but it would be great if people could RSVP (here) so that we can have a head count.
Goal
The goal is to connect people who want to get involved with people who can direct them to good projects, and ways to get involved. This can be through directing students to think critically about how to use XO's, or by teaching students how to look for bugs on the computers, or by testing different network configurations.
Audience
We would like anyone who wants to to come. We are especially interested in students from 6th grade and up (don't worry we have different things for juniors in high school to do, than middle schoolers). We also welcome parents, and other adults.
