This script is used in West Bengal in India as well as in Bangladesh. Due to the large Bangladeshi immigrant community living in London, England, it should be relatively easy to find people with computer skills who can assist with any font issues as well as with production of content in Bengali.

IndLinux is working on a Bengali distribution of Linux. Volunteers in Bangla Desh, West Bengal, and elsewhere are working on a Linux distribution in Bengali, called Bengalinux. Several Free Bengali fonts are readily available, including the Ankur fonts and Code2000.

Bengali uses an INSCRIPT keyboard.
