OLPC San Francisco Bay Area is a general interest group in the San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. The group intends to meet once a month to promote interest, generate ideas and learn from each other in a face-to-face environment.

Note that Jay McCauley has invited us to the Computer History Museum (about 1 mile away) for a tour of the Charles Babbage Difference Engine No. 2 and photo ops with the Babbage engine and XOs. This will be at the tail end of our meeting.

This meeting will be at the LUG Radio live event. See details at http://lugradio.org/live/USA2008/ We have a table and we need volunteers for helping out with hosting at the table. The event has a $10 ticket, but volunteers get in for free. Current volunteers are: Sameer Verma, Sarah Mei, Dan Perez, Joachim Pedersen, Doug Jones, and Andrew Johnson.
