Proposal: WHO game
The topic of the game is to eradicate cholera, malaria, yellow fever and possibly other diseases.
Educational objective
The educational objective of the game is to learn about human medicine in a context that is very accessible for young children. The game should contain an in-game Wikipedia with simplified versions of all relevant articles. The game should require the player to read up on the diseases in order to be able to play the game.
Construction and management simulation
The game could contain a limited construction and management simulation for research facilities of the WHO.
Objectives (ideas)
- Breed a genetically modified dragon fly that decimates the Anopheles mosquito (the malaria host) effectively.
