Follow How to check the OS and firmware versions to determine what build of the system software you have on your XO-1, then refer to this table: {{#ask: Build number::!999
| mainlabel=- | ?Build number | ?=Release | ?Also called | ?Release date | ?Release notes | sort=Build number | order=desc | default=No releases with a build number that's not 999 (which indicates "unknown")
}} If your build number is not in this table and is:
- a bigger number, such as '801', then you are probably running a release candidate build. Future releases may have more information about it.
- a much bigger number, such as '2613', then you are probably running a "joyride" development build.
- in between these numbers, then you are probably running an interim testing build; you should consider upgrading the XO to an official release.
- a smaller number, then see Builds#Build names and branches and Category:Release_notes for information on earlier releases; you should consider upgrading the XO to the latest stable build.
- a very small number like '27', then perhaps you are running a build in a special stream such as "staging", see OS images
XO 1.5 releases are different
The XO-1.5 laptop hardware requires different software, see F11 for 1.5.
