OLPC have developed a new Fedora based operating system for the XO-1. It includes various improvements and modernizations over the previous released version for the XO-1 hardware used many deployments and donors.

It is available as Release 10.1.2. This release is also available for the XO-1.5 laptop hardware.

Development releases

None planned for now (August 2010).
