Set up your XO-1.5 for Video Editing -- Applies to XO build 12.1.0
- Enable the Gnome desktop
- Right click on the XO figure at the center of the Home Page
- Left click on My Settings
- Left click on Switch desktop ( the big foot)
- Click on "Switch to Gnome" and confirm
- Enable yum repo files for rpmfusion
- Download the rpm which configures yum
wget http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-17.noarch.rpm
Become root (su) and put it in the correct place ou your machine
yum localinstall rpmfusion-free-release-17.noarch.rpm
- Let yum figure out all the the additional files to install on your system
yum -y install openshot
- THAT'S ALL
