Always cite your sources and link to any preexisting work. All facts should be verifiable or traced to original reporting.
Make sure to categorize your articles using appropiate categories

Templates or "tags" are particularly useful. Take a look at infoboxes to see which might be appropriate for new projects or for your userpage.
