OLPC News is in no way affiliated with One Laptop Per Child. It's editorial policy is to air every possible complaint about the laptop project, whether or not it is justified. However, both positive and negative news and rumor get reported, and boosters are in fact welcome to contribute. Edward Cherlin, who volunteers on OLPC documentation and language issues, writes for OLPC News in an attempt to counter the naysayers and armchair analysts.
Wayan Vota, founder of OLPC News, says that he is in favor of the project, but considers it overhyped.
