: I don't know the first-hand reasoning, but the green and blue areas of keys in the diagram are in the same layout as a piano keyboard, and on a piano there are no special keys for e-sharp or b-sharp. So if those keys played notes, then they wouldn't work like piano keys, but if they did something else, then a beginner would accidentally trigger them when mashing that section of keys. —[[User:Leejc|Joe]] 11:25, 17 December 2007 (EST) |
