Install required packages
Install building tools:

Install GNOME libraries:
yum install gnome-python2 gnome-python2-libwnck
Install Gecko:
yum install mozilla mozilla-devel
Install avahi:
yum install avahi avahi-glib avahi-tools
Install Xnest (used to emulate the OLPC display):
yum install xorg-x11-server-Xnest
Build
The easiest way to build Sugar from sources is to use sugar-jhbuild.
