: I've been looking for something exactly like this for the OLPC (or any other platform, for that matter). Farming here in New Mexico is rather marginal, similar to many of the OLPC target market. If such an application were to be made, I would not only use it, but would also actively assist in development.

This reminds me of the Simfarm game.

That's SimFarm (Wikipedia). The game is probably not as realistic as one might want for educational purposes. --Fasten 15:00, 26 October 2007 (EDT)

I've been looking for something exactly like this for the OLPC (or any other platform, for that matter). Farming here in New Mexico is rather marginal, similar to many of the OLPC target market.
