:Alas, some of the complexity of the other pages derives from the need to support developer builds. We should probably maintain a completely separate path for them. But after Update.1, some of these instructions will change as well: we'll not be logging in as root any more: rather, we'll be using the su or sudo commands (TBD), so we'll have to maintain some differentiation even for the more casual user... --[[User:Walter|Walter]] 07:26, 21 January 2008 (EST) |

Since the procedure seems to depend on what build a user is currently running, I would suggest telling the user how to find this information. |
