Backward Compatibility

First install a previous shipping build as a clean install.

Actions:

  1. Install flash; ensure it is working
  2. Launch Browse, go to an external website, and then close Browse.
  3. Update the machine to the latest build, using olpc-update.
  4. After update, reboot the machine and go to Journal.

Verify:

  • All previous work (files) can be opened from Journal after the update.
  • All previous activities can be resumed from Journal after the update.
  • Flash continues to work properly.
