Additional activities, of course, can be added on a school-by-school, classroom-by-classroom, or individual basis. The decision to preload so many activities is to ensure a broad coverage in light of the expectation of intermittent interact access in the initial phases of the deployment. (In addition to activities, a number of content bundles are being prepared: books, poetry, etc.)

Introduction

Starting with operating system Update.1 build 700, 'base software' design does not include any activities.

Deployment staff working with OLPC staff and local volunteers, will develop a core base of activities to be installed on the XO-1 Laptop during deployment.

This page is for developing the list of activities for the OLPC Peru deployment. Which currently is strictly controlled by the Peruvian 'ministry of education' administration with coordination of OLPC staff. Currently, there is no mechanism to gather/collect community volunteer input about deployment activities. So below is
