ePals is working on a penpal activity for XO classes.
The last release is ePals.xo version 3
Overview
ePals is a online pen pal and project activity for OLPC that can be used on the XO by children and teachers, providing access to a global classroom community of learners in a safe and protected context.
What is ePals?
ePals is the largest and fastest-growing online community of Primary-Secondary learners, reaching more than 13 million students and teachers globally. Educators and students from more than 130,000 classrooms across 200 countries and territories safely connect, exchange ideas, practice literacy and language skills and work together. At www.ePals.com Primary-Secondary students and teachers build 21st Century skills, gain cultural awareness and exchange knowledge through collaborative learning experiences. ePals' mission is to support lifelong learning through collaborative experiences that empower and inspire.
How do I use ePals on my XO?
ePals is an activity for the XO laptop that allows users after an initial registration visit to seamlessly interact with the Global Learning Community with one click for either online or offline use. Optimization for the XO is still being tested. Please send us your feedback.
