Palestine is a devloping nation with lots of problems due to the instable situation in the Middle East. Children Jericho and around Jericho can change there perspective of life with the OLPC Project. The poores children here live in two refugee camps nearby and villages around jericho, where children cannot leave the village due to settlements. Therefore a good pilote project with international support is needed.

Focusing on the international support, the project still can grow
beyond those 100 machines including all schools in Jericho (which is
the vision of OLPC Jericho and will hopefully come true by the city's
10.000 years (!) anniversary in 2010. That would be a remarkably
success of OLPC in the Arabic world.
