Before coming to Clark, she worked for six years as an elementary school teacher, spending her summers volunteering in developing countries. She has taken coursework in Project Management, Development Theory, Economics, Education and Development, Qualitative Research Methods, and Vector GIS. In her spare time, she enjoys playing Celtic fiddle, practicing Aikido, and hiking.</td>
