The Drawing Workshop: A collaborative space for creation
It is being developed and adapted to OLPC:Python by a Brazilian team created by LSI (Integrated Systems Laboratory) from USP (São Paulo University).

Is the proposed software using Scaleable Vector Graphics? http://www.w3.org/Graphics/svg
JSquiggle is one similar open source solution and there is a proposal for an implementation of Inkscape:
