Here I'm putting some ideas to do for OLPC laptops:
- A media converter, some tool to convert video, audio and images files across the formats easily -- maybe using not only gst, but other encoders like mplayer/mencoder and ffmpeg command-tools.
- A wikimedia framework (plugin) to help on translation (something as some automated inputs on wiki pages where people can easily translate software for their native languages)
