Note: If default language of the laptop is not set in Write activity, do the mapping test in the Terminal of the Developer's console.

Actions

  1. Open Write activity
  2. Type each character (lower-case and upper-case in both English and the language of the laptop)
  3. Also type each Alt-GR character

Verify

  • The default font matches the language of the laptop
  • Each character typed matches the character that appears on the screen. (If you don't have the layout for the keyboard)
  • Each character typed matches the character that appears on the screen as well as the one on the layout. (If you have the layout for the keyboard)
