Perhaps good to put disclaimer directly before/around info on IRC channel, with brief explanation of how it is critical the allow core developers to concentrate. They are kind people and will often answer questions, but it is important for them to focus. Pretend you are watching surgery or something. Shhh.

PHPMyFaq is a nice open source dynamic FAQ tool. (www.phpmyfaq.de)

One of the nice things about it is that it does dynamic ranking, has built-in translation management, and a number of other nifty features. Perhaps its highest value is that it does have a top ten section, which automatically elevates the most relevant items -- and it also has ajax search, for dynamic search suggestion.

The purpose of this page is to work on categories of faq items that might be most helpful in answering peoples questions.
