During the reconciliation process of the “get” laptops shipped during Give One Get One, a number of unfulfilled order records were uncovered. The OLPC team has been working hard with our partners to resolve all open issues. We expect another ~5000 XO laptops will be shipped on Monday. The remaining orders pose an extra challenge as they either have incomplete or no shipping and contact information. If you have not yet received your XO laptop, you should be getting an individualized email that addresses your specific situation. If you are scheduled to receive your laptop next week, you will also be getting a follow-up email with tracking information. We'll be adding additional phone lines and shifting agents to reduce wait times. A further reconciliation of the data will be conducted this week, although hopeful, we can anticipate additional incomplete orders. Our apologies for these delays. |

</imagemap>How OLPC Works
OLPC is a charitable non-profit with an educational mission - to provide laptops to the Children of the World, starting with Developing Countries.
The One Laptop Per Child Core Principles include Saturation, every child owns her own laptop. To this end, OLPC directly oversees large quantity orders in the hundreds of thousand of XOs. The support systems are designed to handle high throughput and multiple shipping quantities.
For the G1G1 Program, OLPC has engaged partners to allow for many small orders, paid individually, and shipped to individual locations.
To get an overview of how the process of getting your G1G1 laptop to you works (or how it might have not), see How laptop delivery works and How laptop delivery breaks.

Notes on G1G1 shipment
OLPC extends our apologies to our North American Give One Get One Donors who have not yet received their XO laptops. The OLPC team has been working hard with our partners to resolve all open issues.
If you have not yet received your XO laptop, you should be getting an individualized email that addresses your specific situation.
During the reconciliation process of the “get” laptops shipped during Give One Get One, a number of unfulfilled order records were uncovered. We expect another ~5000 XO laptops will be shipped on Monday (January 21).
The remaining orders pose an extra challenge as they either have incomplete or no shipping and contact information.
Again please accept our apologies and thank you for your patience.
Is your shipping address in Canada?
Canadian orders are being shipped out of the Toronto area (Mississauga) and your XO laptop will (in most cases!) arrive well before the end of January. Any latecomers (caused by billing/address exceptions etc) should arrive in February. You can check on the status of your laptop by visiting http://laptopgiving.org -- you will need your reference number or the email address you used when donating. If you are unable to track your laptop, please contact OLPC Donor Services by calling 1-800-201-7144 for assistance. Or, if exceptional situations arise, email "help @ laptop.org" with your complete order details.
Is your shipping address a PO Box in the United States?
Fedex does not currently deliver to PO Boxes in the USA.
Please call Donor Services at 800-201-7144, open Monday to Friday 9am - 8pm Eastern time, you will be prompted for the Change shipping address option.
Do you have an email with a Fedex Tracking Number?
Please enter your tracking number on the Fedex Tracking Site.
If the package was left at your shipping address, please check with Fedex for delivery problems.
If the package was not left at your shipping address, or was "returned to to sender", please forward the email with the tracking number and your order number
to Help [at] laptop [dot] org with FEDEX and your Order Number in the subject line of your email
