First introduction of OLPC Nepal team to the school. Shankar, Nirmal and Prakash visited the school for the first time with Department of Education(DoE) officials. DoE selected the school as the pilot site. Some days before our visit DoE officials had visited the school and confirmed it as the pilot school. We met Narayan Prasad Mahaju, the school headmaster, who is really enthusiastic and energetic person even in the age of sixties. He has been teaching for 45 years and teaching in Janajyoti School for 31 years. He made us feel that we'll be getting full support from the school.
