Talk:OLPC Harvard

We're planning a few events at Harvard in the coming weeks.

• November 17-20 : There will be at least one presentation this week
• K-school talk : NN may be speaking at the kennedy school
• HCS/1-for-all presentation

  To prepare:

  • a list of tasks for the Cambridge Friends School pilot
  • open projects for olpc suitable for college groups
  • current college projects at duke, usc, yale
  • potential collaborations / partner groups around campus : berkman, the ed school, the K-school,
  • other Boston area efforts : at BU, at Olin, at the media lab, at the mit museum.

Recruit people for specific efforts :

• MassXO
• K-school event
• Open OLPC projects
• XO demos
• Travel internships - get stories from Peru, Mongolia, Haiti, (Ethiopia, Rwanda)

Potential spaces

• the Cert / Carpenter Center (? ppl) - checking tomorrow
• MaxDwork 2d floor? (60 ppl) - joshua?
• Berkman conf room? (35 ppl, locks) - seth if necc.
