Could you possibly provide a screenshot of miniTamTam please?

Looks like the MiniTamTam keyboard on the G1G1 laptops has its lowest note on the "Z" key, then goes 2 octaves up. The first octave is from "Z" to ">", with whole steps on the letter keys and sharps/flats on the row above (S-L). The next octave is from Q to I, with the sharps and flats on the number keys above them. After about 10 minutes I was playing "Frere Jaques" and "Yankee Doodle" on the thing, but I doubt that the Venezuelans are gonna be using this heavily in El Sistema. OTOH, the music editors are an excellent introduction when you're demonstating the OLPC to non-geeks -- they're accessible, interesting, and even pretty.
