Development Lab Open
Hosted by the University of Auckland Computer Science Department the OLPC NZ/Pacific Development Group now has a dedicated 18 seat lab to run the development group from....stay tunned for more information!

Formation of core development group
a. Key area of focus
i. Strategy, planning, consultation and logistics
ii. Communications (internal, OLPC Wiki, and regional external)

1. Code and testing of applications a. UI – Sugar b. Collaboration applications i. Application sharing ii. White boarding iii. P2P debugging and latency issues iv. Beta testing of Macromedia Beta player and related applications as a future consideration c. Hardware testing i. Board (OLPC) ii. Emulators on fedora/ Ubuntu etc iii.
