The 99 (website, Wikipedia) is a new Arab comic strip put out by Teshkeel Comics, a Kuwaiti comics publisher that is making their own comics and translations of DC and Archie comics. Two the issues are being released under a non-commercial license, and a few of their characters are being released from copyright and trademark for children and others to use in their own comics.
