Some arguements regarding open source, globalization, and risk
- Open source lets you invest in people, not software;
- Open source is most impactful when it is developed on a global scale;
- An open-source model espouses feedback
- As per the above, open source is low risk, as it readily couples a broad and diverse development community with mechanisms for continuous course correction
