OLPC:Privacy policy

All user data that is not made public, including email addresses and IPs associated with user accounts, will not be shared with outside parties for any reason unless compelled by law. OLPC does not keep machine logs any longer than necessary to maintain the site.

All textual contributions to OLPCWiki are considered to be released under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. This is to allow others to use and share content without the usual restrictions imposed by Copyright laws.

Free Cultural Works

OLPC uses the Definition of Free Cultural Works as a standard for licenses that preserve the freedoms we support. Images, files, and other uploaded media may be available under any of these free licenses; including

• GNU licenses: GFDL, GPL
• Creative Commons licenses: CC-BY, CC-BY-SA
• Other licenses: BSD, MIT

Please check the image description page of any images you wish to use to see their licensing terms. If no license is specified, images are available for reuse under a CC-BY license, however Some media are produced under a different license. All images that include children have gathered consent from their family or guardian.
