Great job on the FAQ

Just wanted to compliment you on what a great job you're doing on the Support FAQ. The Wifi info is extremely helpful! Thanks a bunch. annegentle 10:20, 8 January 2008 (EST)

Re-Organization wiki

Katie,

I was on the Support-gang conference call, and SJ etc mentioned I should touchbase. I have a great interest with the wiki and helping to organization/reshape the site to something more friendly, and easy to navigate.

I have lots of ideas and experience, and would like to knock heads with you on a good cooperative plan of attack. :)

And idea, is creating a section for wiki content areas.... on wiki page?

Re: ASL activity

I'd be interested in seeing an ASL activity developed, but am probably not the right person to do it because I'm no longer fluent in ASL. (I'm more of an AGBell person, actually.) There are some deaf/hard-of-hearing organizations in the Boston area - they might have better leads on that. (btw, I'm on IRC as mchua right now if you're on to chat.) Art community

Welcome! And thanks for joining up, more artists are always welcome. Don't feel obligated to commit to anything, but one of the most recent proposed projects is to get some nice t-shirt designs that we can get printed at cost and sell/distribute for as little $$$ as possible. So, if you get inspired... (uploading for this isn't set in stone, but flickr or wikimedia commons under OLPC's standard CC licensing should be fine)

T-shirt screening

Er, 4 to 5 colors? O_o I've done a decent amount of hand screening, and that would be... pretty hard. It would take at least a day to get all the screens made, and a while to do the actual screening as well because you have to let the paint dry. I think it could be a lot of fun and a good community activity, but I'd limit it to one or two colors. --Nikki 17:52, 19 January 2008 (EST)

for details, go here

thanks for fixing that frontpage link. that's on my short peeve list of style guidelines That Have Been Ignored Consistently Since 1995. Where do these memes start? At least with "disambiguation" we have the edit history to track down the original coiners and congratulate/chastise them as necessary. --Sj leave me a message 11:43, 21 January 2008 (EST)
