I am a 2nd year graduate student in computer science at San Diego State University. I plan to apply to the One Laptop per Child Foundation as part of the Google Summer of Code 2008. The project I am most interested in working on is the typing tutor activity to help children learn touch typing. I have extensive experience in the use of similar software applications and have lots of ideas about specific features that are particularly helpful for student learning.
