OLPC Mozambique
OLPC in Mozambique
This page is dedicated to those interested in XO machines in Mozambique. While there are currently no national-level deployments in place, some machines will be sent to the country by other interested parties, and there are groups interested in smaller pilot studies of the computers. Anyone interested in these studies, the country itself and relevant issues, or new ideas is welcome to submit their thoughts to this page.

Health Education Intervention
A health education activity is currently being designed for a pilot study in rural Zambezia, in northern Mozambique. This intervention will put health education information on the laptop in an engaging manner, specifically related to HIV/AIDS and infectious diseases. The program will be evaluated both on its own and in conjunction with teacher training on the program. The program is still in the beginning stages of construction, and a small pilot test is planned for this July.
