The Get Books activity lets users find and download epub and pdf books to read, from the 1.8 million texts in the Internet Archive, Project Gutenberg, and FeedBooks. Versions of this activity that only draw from a subset of these sources also exist.

The latter device has support for book collections on removable USB sticks -- or "books on a stick". To test this out, install Get Books and unzip the following onto a USB stick: books on a stick.zip ... then follow these instructions: Sayamindu's email, Nov 2009
