Android support different keyboard layout, it can be configured in system settings.

Settings->Language & input->Physical keyboard->AT Translated Set 2 keyboard-> Set up keyboard layouts

You can select one of the layout or multi-keyboard layout and use CTRL + SPACE switch between them.

There are two special layout added for XO-4 

OLPC English
OLPC Spanish
