What plays music files?

Can TamTam play MIDI files? What application would play Ogg/MP3 files, Etoys or CSound? -- Skierpage 07:48, 3 March 2007 (EST)

Sheet Musc PDFs

Try and include sheet music with the western classical music files if you can - would be great for kids who want to learn to read western classical music.

Classical Music

I see the list of classical music pieces. Have there been any talks about acquiring free recordings? Perhaps parterning with an orchestra or university? Horndude77 00:51, 16 February 2008 (EST)

  • Barry Vercoe and his class that he teaches at the Media Lab
  • Spic Macay (a non profit organization in India that promotes Indian Classical music)

  • What are the various kinds of volunteers you are looking for ? (musicians/co-ordinators..)
  • What might be good events to tell people about this project ? (exposure)
  • Technically, what formats are supported ?
  • Do you know about the 4000 sample bank of Richard Boulanger is going to go into the XO ?
