Michael Burns is a Computer Science student at Oregon State University. He is working for the Network Engineering Team and is focused on Network Security and distributed systems. He runs Mirwin - a professional weblog of his work projects. Michael can be reached at maburns@gmail.com.
For the $100 laptop, Michael is keenly interested in the efficiency of largescale deployment of 802.11s, distributed network services and building service discovery without the presense of a traditional network infrastructure.
