When

Dear All,

I am a Software Engineer, working in Karachi, Pakistan. I want to know that when you will start the project in Pakistan to give the 100$ laptop to the children from Urban to Rural Areas.

Rgds,

Salman Fateh Ali Software Engineer Karachi 0321-2412363

Salman

Thank you for your "60 million dollar" question. Currently we are involved in testing and refining the localized version of OLPC for Pakistani children. There more than 15 million children waiting in Pakistan for their OLPC - and it is upto the Ministry of Education, in Islamabad and the four Provincial education departments to deploy it in bulk out of their development funds /donors/ debt swapping program.
We in OLPC will provide technical, pedagogical, and preparing of teachers for classroom integration.
I hope this answers your question.

Don't merge with Pakistan page

The Pakistan page is about the country. OLPC Pakistan is, correctly, about the deployment, or at least possibility of deployment. -- Skierpage 05:41, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
