Fundraising
Boston College is proud of a tradition of service, and is host to various organizations in which our team members have taken part. We plan to seek financial assistance from these following BC organizations to further this project: The Volunteer and Service Learning Center, African & African Diaspora Studies Program, African Student Union, AHANA Leadership Council, and FACES (racism education student group). We will also have access to Ikamva Labantu's fundraising website (http://www.ikamva.org/donations.html#guidelines) as we work on our project, and incorporate this OLPC initiative to directly solicit funds. University of Michigan at Ann Arbor is a large campus with many different organizations that we will also seek financial assistance from, such as Alliance for World AIDS Relief and Education, National Society for Black Engineers, and Students for Legal Opportunities in Africa.
