The Dana cost around $399US. The OLPC even at $150US provides a much better platform for software development for children with disabilities. All of the advantages the OLPC has with kids in developing conties applies to children with disabilities. Examples include children with dysgraphia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dysgraphia), they can use the OLPC for writing and self expression. Children with autism that can not speak could use it for communication, ether as a picture chart, or to generate speech. I would hope that the OLPC would be marketed for children with disabilities in all counties, and not just reserved for the children of developing ones.
