hello - rosetta stone clone

hi kelcy! I'm a new developer and want to make a rosetta stone clone, I've programmed a little bit in python before and know some other languages but am not a really serious coder and haven't gotten into pygame yet. where do i get started learning? Mchua 10:53, 15 June 2007 (EDT)

game dev newbies & awesome @ olin

Yo! How's Game Development Newbies coming along? There are some other resources it would be handy to merge with, methinks - also, the software design class might find it to be a super-useful resource for their end-of-term projects.

From one of your earlier blog posts: "I am now tossing around thoughts of speaking to the administration to facilitate having cool thing like the OLPC Game Jam at Olin and starting a club for the same purpose." Any thoughts on this, now the school year has started?

With love from your sibb,

Some people are working on a "rosetta-stone-like" game for language learning on the XO (we're trying to avoid using the term, but the method of language learning is similar. Check out TinyLanguage and chime in. Mchua 23:58, 27 January 2008 (EST)
