1. Verify the navigation to the Record Activity
REC_P1 FUN Verify user can navigate to the Record activity OLPC is in power on mode. & Record activity icon is available Click on the record icon Navigate to the Record Activity. 1
1.1 Verify the Activity tab in Record Activity
REC_P1.1 UI Verify the features of the activity tab in Record activity User is in Record activity window
  1. Click on the Activity Tab
  2. Check the features of activity tab
 System should navigated to activity tab and following features should be displayed
  • Name of the Activity
  • Share With
  • Keep
  • Stop

REC_P1.1.1 FUN Verify whether activity name is displayed on the search box option. User is in Record activity Window. Check the name of the activity. Should be display the name of the activity. 1
REC_P1.1.2 FUN Verify the Share with of the activity tab User is in Record activity Window. Click on the Drop down list. System should be display "Private" & "My Neighborhood" and default should be private 1
REC_P1.1.2.1 FUN Verify the functionality of Private User is in Record activity Window. Click on the private option User should be able to continue the actions on Record activity without any failure 1
REC_P1.1.2.2 FUN Verify the functionality of My Neighborhood
  1. User is in activity tab Window
  2. OLPC Mesh connection is available.
  1. Click on My Neighborhood option
  2. Invite to the person.
  3. In the Journal top of the Record activity keeps the mouse point send to select the person.
  4. Check whether shared person can view your actions
 Connected people can share their actions 1
REC_P1.1.3 FUN Verify the functionality of Keep User is in Record activity widow. Click on keep option Record activity widow should not be closed. 1
REC_P1.1.4 FUN Verify the functionality of Stop User is in Record activity window Click on stop option Record activity widow should be closed. 1
1.2 Verify the Photo tab in Record Activity
REC_P1.2 UI Verify the features of the photo tab in record activity User is in activity tab window Click on the photo tab System should be navigated to the edit tab and the following features should be displayed.
  1. Capture
  2. Timer
  3. Full screen.
  4. Film Strip

REC_P1.2.1 FUN Verify the system can capture the picture. User is in activity tab activity. Click on the capture option System should take the photo. And photo displayed the Film Strip. 1
REC_P1.2.2 FUN Verify the system can capture the picture within user selected time frame. User is in activity tab activity.
  1. Select time frame.
  2. Click on the capture option.
 Check 1 <br\>System should be capture the photo immediately. <br\> Check 2 <br\>System should be capturing the photo within 5 seconds. <br\> Check 3 <br\>System should be capturing the photo within 10 seconds. 3
REC_P1.2.3 FUN Verify the functionality of the full screen option User is in activity tab activity. Click on the full screen option Photo size should be equal to the screen size and minimize screen button should appear in the window right side top. 1
REC_P1.2.4 FUN Verify the functionality of the Film Strip option User is in activity tab window. If the user took the photo/ record it should appear in the Film Strip window. 1
1.3 Verify the Video tab in Record Activity
REC_P1.3 UI Verify the features of the video tab. User is in photo tab window. Click on the video tab. System should be navigated to the video tab and the following features should be displayed
  • Capture.
  • Quality
  • Timer
  • Duration
  • Full screen
  • Film Strip

REC_P1.3.1 FUN Verify the functions of the capture option. User is in photo tab window. Click on the capture option System should record the video. And video displayed the Film Strip. 1
REC_P1.3.2 FUN Verify the functionality of the quality option User is in photo tab window.
  1. Select the quality
  2. Click on the capture option.
 Check 1 <br\> System should be display the low quality output of the video & video displayed at the Film Strip<br\> Check 2 <br\>System should be display the high quality output of the video & video displayed at the Film Strip<br\> Check 3 <br\>System should be display the best quality output of the video & video displayed at the Film Strip 3
REC_P1.3.3 FUN Verify the system can record the video within user selected time frame. User is in photo tab window.
  1. Select the time frame.
  2. Click on th capture option.
 Check 1 <br\> System should be record the video immediately & video displayed at the Film Strip<br\> Check 2 <br\>System should be record the video within 5 seconds & video displayed at the Film Strip<br\> Check 3 <br\>System should be record the video within 10 seconds & video displayed at the Film Strip 3
REC_P1.3.4 FUN Verify the functionality of the duration option. User is in photo tab window.
  1. Select the duration
  2. Click the capture option.
 Check 1 <br\> System should be record the video within 2 minutes & video displayed at the Film Strip<br\> Check 2 <br\>System should be record the video within 4 minutes & video displayed at the Film Strip<br\> Check 3 <br\>System should be record the video within 6 minutes & video displayed at the Film Strip 3
REC_P1.3.5 FUN Verify the functionality of the full screen option User is in photo tab window. Click on the full screen option Video size should be equal to the screen size and minimize screen button should appear in the window right side top. 1
REC_P1.3.6 FUN Verify the functionality of the Film Strip option User is in activity tab window. If the user took the photo/ record it should appear in the Film Strip window. 1
1.4 Verify the Audio tab in Record Activity
REC_P1.4 UI Verify the features of the edit tab User is in video tab activity. Click on the audio tab System should be displayed following features.
  • Capture.
  • Timer
  • Duration
  • Film Strip

REC_P1.4.1 FUN Verify the function of the capture option. User is in video tab activity. Click on the capture icon. System should record the audio. And audio displayed the Film Strip. 1
REC_P1.4.2 FUN Verify system can record the audio within user selected time frame. User is in video tab activity.
  1. Select the time frame.
  2. Click on the capture option.
 Check 1 <br\> System should be record the audio immediately. & video displayed at the Film Strip.<br\> Check 2 <br\>System should be record the audio within 5 seconds. & video displayed at the Film Strip.<br\> Check 3 <br\>System should be record the audio within 10 seconds.& video displayed at the Film Strip. 3
REC_P1.4.3 FUN Verify the functionality of the duration option.
  1. Select the duration
  2. Click the capture option.
 Check 1 <br\> System should be record the audio within 2 minutes & video displayed at the Film Strip.<br\> Check 2 <br\>System should be record the audio within 4 minutes & video displayed at the Film Strip.<br\> Check 3 <br\>System should be record the audio within 6 minutes & video displayed at the Film Strip. 3
REC_P1.4.4 FUN Verify the functionality of the film Strip option User is in video tab activity. If the user took the photo/ record it should appear in the Film Strip window. 1
