For providing remote support for the owner of a laptop to get the laptop unlocked:

1. ask the owner to follow your instructions for collecting,
2. wait for them to send you the laptops.dat file,
3. open laptops.dat,
4. check that the third number is a correct year, and if not see Fix_clock for other things to worry about,
5. treat the first number as a serial number and the second as UUID, and enter them on OLPC Activation Service, and follow the instructions there to generate a developer key,
6. send the develop.sig file to the owner, asking them to follow your instructions for unlocking,
7. wait for them to respond.
