The following packages, including discovery activities and content, are available in common Linux distributions. Tools such as publishing, graphics, or CAD software are not listed here. Games using physics engines of varying degrees of realism are also not included. The Debian Jr. packages are not listed separately, but many of the packages included in them are here.
Some of these programs are at a much more advanced level than current XO activities. There is more software at a higher level still, particularly for physics at the graduate and professional level.
