Américo Damasceno is a brazilian electrical engineer, having worked all his life for IBM (since 1969). Now he is retired(?) and is only(?) a book writer, having 14 books about IT (system development, programming etc.) published . His books are published, in portuguese, by the Editora Érica, from Sao Paulo-Brasil and, in spanish, by Editorial Metodos, from Buenos Aires-Argentina. He has also a site where publishes free tutorial series about virtual reality programming. There are 3 tutorial series about the Alan Kay's project: Squeak-Croquet. The site is: the DMU
